When is a pdf file necessary?

You may find yourself one day in the situation where the content of the product page isn’t enough to give all the information about your product. In this instance, you can add an attachment to your product page: a PDF file.

This option can be useful in the case of a complex product, which would require a very precise description such as a high tech item or household appliance for example. It wouldn't be sensible to present a product page that would contain the entire manual of the coffee machine you want to sell. This is where the PDF file comes into play. It allows you to make this information available to your clients without cluttering up the main content of your product file, and without drowning your sales points in a flood of purely practical or technical information.
Another advantage of the PDF file is that it can be easily downloaded by your clients. They will be able to save it to consult it later, or even to print it in the case of an instruction manual.

It’s a great way to keep a connection with your leads who will keep your file even if they don't purchase right away.
