When it comes to delivering their orders to your clients, you have several options. You can activate one or more shipping /delivery options for your shop. Just ask yourself, depending on your type of business, how you want to deliver your clients.

Shipping

This is the most common type of delivery. Your clients order products from your shop, and then you take care of shipping their order by post or by a carrier. In this case, you can choose the countries/regions to which you want to offer shipping, and you associate shipping prices according to your shipping costs.
This option allows you to reach a very large audience (GoodBarber allows you to sell your products worldwide). This is probably the option you use yourself as a client on most ecommerce sites.

Local delivery

This is a delivery option that is particularly interesting for local businesses or physical stores that wish to offer their online catalog to their clients, or even restaurants..
The principle is the same as for the shipping, except that here the delivery is almost instantaneous since you offer it to the clients who are in a geographical zone that you’ll have defined, to deliver them quickly and locally.
Let's imagine a Parisian florist for example, who could offer bouquets online, delivered the same day directly to their Parisian customers. Or a New York sushi shop that delivers directly to the office! This option is now within your reach, and you can even offer time slots for your local deliveries to better manage your orders, and fully satisfy your clients.
Except for restaurants, only 21% of e-retailers offer fast delivery. Consumers are less likely to wait for delivery, even if it's only a few days. By offering fast local delivery, you stay ahead of your competitors and increase your sales.

Click and collect

This is exactly the same principle as local delivery, except that instead of delivering to your local clients, you give them the opportunity to pick up their order at your shop. This is a great way to improve customer satisfaction while boosting your sales. And all while reducing your delivery costs to zero.
