In the context of click and collect or local delivery, it’s essential to provide order date and time slot options.

• delay between order and first available time slot: minimum delay between the moment the order is placed and the first available time slot.
• time slot display restriction: let your clients  place a pre-order for the following days or the same day only.
• clients  display: give your clients  a choice of time slots or make only the next available time slot. 

In the case of a restaurant for example, one could imagine that in order to be able to serenely welcome customers, the owners decide to create 15-minute pick-up slots with a maximum of 5 orders per slot. To have time to prepare each order, a delay of 30 minutes will be defined between the moment of the order and the first available pick-up slot. Finally, only same day slots are offered to users.

On the other hand, in the case of a grocery store, in order to be sure to honor deliveries, in-store pick-ups and clients present in the store, the manager has created 15-minute time slots with a maximum of 2 orders per slot. The preparation of a food shopping order can take time, that's why a mandatory 120 minutes delay has been defined between the moment when the client validates the order, and the next available delivery or pick-up time slot. 
Since we’re talking about groceries, clients will have the possibility to choose a slot the same day or within 6 days after their order.
