The blog section allows you to create content directly from the GoodBarber back office. You can easily add articles and enhance them with photos, videos, etc.

For pure content creators, the blog section is the backbone of your app. But its power doesn't end there. No matter the type of apps you’d like to create, you'll use at least once this section to distribute your content.

To add a blog section, like all other sections of your app, all you need to do is go to the menu My App > Sections and click on a section. Then select the Blog section.

Once the section added, you can start to create your articles. You can add as many Blog sections as you need (within the 120 section limits) and know that an article can be displayed in several sections. There is no limit to the organization of your content!
You’ll find in the following courses that the Blog section can be used in many different ways and will allow you to create more than just a blog.

Article creation

Articles are structured with text paragraphs and other elements (photos, videos, quotes, or embed code)

Once the content created, you can set several options for your article.

• The section(s) the article belongs to and where it will be displayed.
• The author of the article
• The thumbnail
• Add a preview text (that will be displayed in the article list)
• Enable or not comments on the article

You can also, from the SEO tab, add your article metadata and customize the URL.
